Calling Hours
Calling hours for the general public are 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Franconia Town Hall, 421 Main St., Franconia. A walk-through for law enforcement, fire service and EMS personnel will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Public calling hours will resume from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Staging for the walk-through will be held at 4:30 p.m. at Cannon Mountain, Peabody Slopes, off Exit 34C of I-93/Franconia Notch Parkway, Franconia.

Directions from New York City
Take I-95 North to New Haven, CT. In New Haven, take I-91 North - in Vermont take Exit 17, Wells River to Rt. 302 (approximately 3 ½ hrs. on I-91). Exit right, Rt. 302 East, go approximately 17 miles. After going through Lisbon, NH you will intersect Rt. 117, Sugar Hill. Take right and follow Rt. 117 to end, where it intersects Rt. 18 in Franconia. Take right onto Rt. 18 and the Town Hall will be approximately ¾ of a mile on your left. Total trip time approximately 5 ¾ hours.
Directions from Burlington, VT
Take I-91 South to Wells River, VT, Exit 17, take Right off Exit to Route 302 East (another Right at bottom of hill and then a Left across river at Happy Hour Restaurant). Stay on Rt. 302 for approximately 3/4 hour through the towns of Woodsville, Bath and Lisbon, NH. Take a right onto Rt. 117 - follow Rt. 117 to end where it intersects Rt. 18 in Franconia. Take right onto Rt. 18 the Town Hall will be approximately ¾ of a mile on your left.
Directions from Boston, MA
Take the Sumner Tunnel from Logan Airport and follow signs for Interstate 93 North. Approximately 175 miles or 2 ½ hours later, you should be going through Franconia Notch. (You will encounter a $.75 toll booth in Hooksett, NH.) Take Exit 38, Franconia, turn left off ramp, take a left at the four-corner intersection - this is Main Street. The Town Hall will be approximately ¼ mile on your left.
Directions from Manchester, NH
When exiting the Manchester airport at the light, turn right. Follow this road through a number of lights until you go under an overpass. Immediately after the overpass, there is a light: turn left. This is the entrance ramp to 293 North and 101 West. Stay in the right-hand lanes. Shortly after you are on the highway, 293 will split from 101 to the right - bear to the right and stay on 293 North. 293 will eventually turn into 93 North. Stay on 93 North all the way to Exit 38. (You will encounter a $.75 toll booth in Hooksett, NH.) Turn left off ramp, then a left at the four-corner intersection - this is Main Street. The Town Hall will be approximately ¼ mile on your left.
Directions from Portland, ME
Follow Rt. 302 West through Crawford Notch in NH. Once you have gone through Bethlehem, NH (approximately 2 ¼ hours); you will intersect I-93. Take this South to second exit (exit 38). Turn right off ramp, take a left at the four-corner intersection - this is Main Street. The Town Hall will be approximately ¼ mile on your left.

The mission of the foundation is to provide benefits to public safety officials to include police officers, conservation officers, firefighters, search and rescue personnel and their families in Grafton, Coos and Carroll counties of the State of New Hampshire who may need financial assistance due to disability, illness or other factors.
